How to Use
Choose your space, plan the design you'd like to make, be as imaginitive as you like then follow these steps!
- step 1
Clean your wall or surface
Be sure it is smooth, dry and free of dust and dirt. Wipe with a dry cloth. Vinyl decals can be applied to walls, wood, glass - any smooth, dry surface. For walls it is recommended to only apply on well painted surfaces and not on wall paper. For our FROSTED decals please see the FAQs below for important further advice on their application. - step 2
Prepare the wall stickers
If more then one design comes on a sheet, cut carefully around the individual stickers. Lay each graphic on a flat surface, graphic side down. Press firmly over the entire sheet with the edge of a credit card or a 'squeegie' (which is available to purchase at the bottom of the page.) By doing this, you are strengthening the bond between the decal and the tacky transfer tape. With the graphic side still down, start from a corner and very carefully and slowly peel the white backing away from the tacky clear tape, keeping an eye that the graphic is transferring and staying attached successfully to the tacky tape. Always peel at a 45-degree angle. Once the entire graphic has been transfered discard the white backing paper. If the graphic remains stuck to the white backing, stop. Rub the backing back onto the graphic with the palm of your hand or once again with the squeegie. This allows the graphic to re-bond with the tacky tape, after which you can slowly continue peeling. - step 3
Apply "The Wizard's Chamber" wall graphics
Once the white backing has been removed be very careful not to allow the wall stickers to fold in on themselves, since they are very sticky. You can 'mock' layout the stickers as the clear tape around the sticker is tacky enough to hold on your wall without having to stick down the actual sticker first. - step 4
Fix your stickers into position
Once you have found the desired position. Press your hand slowly across the graphic, starting from the centre and pushing out as to avoid air bubbles. Once the decal is placed, it is best to then go back over with a credit card or squeegie pressing firmly to create a strong bond between the decal and the surface. It is best to, then with the edge of the squeegie finish the application by rubbing over the entire graphic. Once smoothed down, carefully & slowly remove the clear tape, peeling at a 45-degree angle. If some of the graphic begins to lift, stop pulling. Gently press it back onto your surface and then continue peeling. Repeat this process for each decal then stand back and smile. - FAQs
How easy are the FROSTED decals to apply to glass?
Easy. Each pack comes with simple step by step instructions. They can be used on all windows, providing it is glass and the surface is smooth and clean. By using a light water spray on the the glass, to create a mist on the glass, it allows for the film to be easily positioned in your window. When final positioning of the decals please make sure to press firmly form the inside to avoid air bubble being trapped.
What can you see from the outside?
By positioning the frosted decals on the glass you can obscure the usual direct view in as a net curtain is used.

Our vinyl decals are not affected by condensation, but we do not recommend it to be used where there is intense heat or very wet (e.g directly behind a sink or on the inside of a shower door).

The vinyl decals have a minimum of 3 years durability. (IVY cannot give any guarantees - all materials fade and wear depending on light and their conditions).
